Advance product warranties, and lifetime warranty information
The Advance Lifetime Warranty is available to eligible end users who own Advance branded transceiver, DAC and AOC products, full terms and conditions are available in this document. By registering your Advance transceiver products using the form below, you are activating your Lifetime Warranty.
End users owning Advance branded active and infrastructure products can enable your 2 year warranty using the same form below, full terms and conditions of which are contained in this document. Warranty start dates will be verified according to the ship date of hardware from Advance.
In case of an in-warranty failure please complete the form below. Please note, warranty claims are checked before processing and replacement products are sent, normally the same working day a claim is submitted, or next working day if submitted out of hours.
Vendor warranty guide
There is often a misconception that non-vendor branded products will void your host hardware warranty. After extensive research Advance can advise that the recurring theme from vendors is that they do allow users to install third party components into their products1. If a fault occurs and it is not attributable to the use of a third party component then support and service will be delivered as expected.
If a fault occurs and it is deemed that an Advance branded component has failed, then our warranty will cover the replacement of the Advance branded item. This warranty is actually better than the vast majority of vendors (often including paid for after-sales support options), even if you do use their own modules – most only offer a 1 year return to base warranty, with services times extending into 3-4 weeks in some instances.
The following table is an example of the Advance warranty service compared to a selection of market leading vendors.
Advance | Arista | Avaya | Cisco | Juniper | |
Warranty | Lifetime | 1 Year2 | 1 Year3 | 1 Year5 | 1 Year7 |
Return Policy | Advanced replacement | Return to base2 | Return to base4 | Return to base6 | Return to base7 |
